How Many Days Do I Have Left to Make Christmas Presents?

Knitting Teensy!

I've been knitting little things! These penguins are going to be Christmas Tree ornaments. I started with the three with the yellow bows, but since I don't like making the same things over and over and over, I started to add little vests. I really love these little guys! They are about 2" tall, and super easy to make.

These two little guys have gotten buttons, too. They think they look very 'smart'. I think they look like little professors.

Now, these sheep are just too darned cute. They are going to be Christmas tree ornaments, too. I made the brown one first, and then branched out with the fuzzy coats when Mom gave me some leftover scraps of mohair yarn.

Here's a little sheep that lost it's way!

Poor little Black Sheep! All forlorn, and bigger than the others. I made him from Redheart worsted weight yarn. These little sheep have already traveled to a few homes, as get well gifts. (Sorry to hear you are feeling baaaad) but the rest are staying here until Christmas.

If you are interested in the patterns for the penguins or sheep, check out the Flutterby Patch. This very talented lady has these patterns and about a ton more I am planning on trying. Baaa!

These little penguins and sheep are really cute. I think Christmas trees look extra special when homemade ornaments are used for decoration. Susan W.

You have been so busy! I love these little guys! What about a Noah's Ark tree? Or a Narnian Talking Beasts Tree? Just think about it!

Thanks, Susan! I always make or buy an ornament for my kids, their spouses, and their kids, so I have to make 11 of whatever I do...! Luckily, those penguins are fun!

The penguins are fantastic Julie, I must give them a mention and link in my next story. I think I will be able to weave them in somehow when my sheep leave Dublin in Ireland bound for Dublin in Ohio in a week or two from now. I'll look forward to seeing the festive tree.
